Korean Courses in Tampere — Where to Study This Autumn
Looking to learn Korean in Tampere or anywhere in Finland? Whether K-dramas got you curious, you're planning a trip to Seoul, or you want a recognised qualification, KSI Tampere offers structured Korean courses for every level. Registration for Autumn Semester 2026 (17 August–12 December) is open now.
The only official King Sejong Institute in Finland
Other places in Tampere teach Korean—but Tampere KSI is the only official King Sejong Institute, part of a global network of 248 institutes in 85 countries, established by the South Korean government. It was the first of its kind in Finland and the Nordics. The same curriculum and certified assessments used in Seoul, New York, and Tokyo are delivered right here.
Courses from complete beginner to advanced
Classes follow the official Sejong Korean curriculum, developed over three years by Korea's National Institute of Korean Language. Levels run from A0 to B2, with certified progression at every stage, covering speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

A Korean cultural community
Alongside classes, the autumn semester includes the full Sejong Culture programme: weekly workshops, Friday Culture Days, and K-culture events open to students and the wider community.
Affordable, central, and online
Tampere KSI is considerably affordable than private tutoring or commercial language schools, with no hidden fees. Classes are at Klingendahl, Pyhäjärvenkatu 5B 69–71, in central Tampere—and online options are available for learners anywhere in Finland.
