Tampere King Sejong Institute Participates in the 2026 World Korean Educators Conference

The 2026 World Korean Educators Conference was held from July 13–16, 2026, at COEX (Seoul) and the Lotte Hotel, bringing together approximately 550 Korean language educators from around the world. Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Overseas Koreans Agency, and organized by the King Sejong Institute Foundation, the conference serves as a global platform for Korean language educators to share knowledge, exchange best practices, and strengthen international cooperation in Korean language education.

As Finland's first and only officially accredited King Sejong Institute, the Tampere King Sejong Institute was honored to be represented by our teachers, Mirim and Toni, who were invited to participate in this event.

Throughout the conference, educators attended keynote lectures, academic sessions, workshops, and networking events focused on the future of Korean language education and the continued growth of the global King Sejong Institute network. The experience provided valuable opportunities to exchange ideas with fellow educators from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.

We returned inspired with new perspectives, teaching ideas, and international connections that will help us further develop Korean language education in Finland. We look forward to introducing a wider range of educational programs, cultural activities, and community events that will enrich the learning experience for our students and everyone interested in Korean language and culture.

Applications Closing Soon

A friendly reminder that applications for our Fall Semester Korean language courses and K-Playground are open until August 2.

Thank you for your continued interest and support. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning students to the Tampere King Sejong Institute!
