A hands-on, after-work workshop where you make a glowing light piece inspired by Minhwa (Korean folk art). Designed for beginners, it’s a cosy way to brighten dark autumn evenings, and you take home a decoration or gift that lights up.
- Inspired by Irworobongdo: the royal painting of the sun, moon and five peaks, a symbol of balance, protection and prosperity
- Option 1, Wood Theater: build a multi-layered wooden lightbox with the classic Irworobongdo design
- Option 2, String Art: weave a glowing thread art piece in the Irworobongdo pattern or the Pine Tree & Full Moon motif (a symbol of longevity and calm)
- Choose your project (wood theater or string art) when you register
- No experience needed
- A favourite workshop, back by popular demand
All materials are included, and you take your finished piece home. String art motifs are given out on arrival, first come, first served, because each design is limited.
Fri 23 Oct or Fri 30 Oct 2026, 16:30–18:30. €30 per session.
